In 2001, Sam and Julia Norton started The Dahlonega Dessertery, now named The Picnic Café and Dessertery with family recipes that come from the heart. Sam and Julia take pride in their food being simple and southern dining that satisfies. All of our meals are prepared here daily with the same fresh ingredients used at home. Being a part of the community on the quaint Dahlonega square, we consider our employees and customers a part of our one big family!
